Tech week starts Monday!

We're going to be officially moving over to Riverside this Monday and starting our tech week. Call time is 6 for actors, we're going to be spiking positions and making sure we're ready to go for our Q2Q. If we can get through the cues quickly then we can run through any trouble spots or maybe even the whole show!

Hopefully we'll be finishing the set during the day. Because it's MLK day, the school is available. I'm not sure right now of the time, but we'll let you know!

If crew can be there earlier (either during the day during set building or at least by 5 or 5:30) we can try and run through the set change a couple times without the actors. That would really help!

Crew call!

Hey everyone!

Anyone who is interested in being on the Stepping Out crew should let me know.  I'd like for everyone to attend the Tuesday rehearsal on the 13th so that I can know who's going to be there and you can have a chance to meet the cast.

I know other Crestwood kids have been helping and might be on for the shows, but it'd be great to get a full list.  We need a LOT of help because there is a HUGE set change in the second act (all the flats come down).  Chris is on for lights and we'll probably use one or two more for that.  Besides that it's stage hands and costume organizers (backstage during the show).

Let me know if you can be there Tuesday!  If not, we'll figure something out!  Tech week starts the next Sunday/Monday!

Gosh its quiet around here..

I updated the dhctstage website finally. A week later than planned. Stuff happens, its Christmas time. Check it out, let me know what you think.

Also can someone get me the final official cast list of Stepping Out? I don't think I have an up to date version. I want to post the cast on the site.

Currently there are 3 rubbermaid tubs full of props and miscellaneous costumes for "Stepping Out" in the prop room. Please do not touch them or move them- we are trying to keep our collection growing and utilize things as we get them.

The cast is having a great time learning the dances and doing blocking for Act One. This show is going to be a riot to be in -- and watch!

Attention All Giftwrappers!!!!

As every year, the DATA organization is sponsoring gift wrapping days at both Borders (on Mercury Drive in Dearborn) and Barnes & Noble (Fairlane Green, Allen Park). As always, we would like some show of support from our group. I normally go and wrap, but I am unsure what I am doing this holiday season and am not sure if I'll be in town at all. Please consider the following dates, times and locations and let me know if I can put any of you down to help. Each time slot is for two hours.
